Summary
The Institute of Nature Management offers consumers various Services in the geological, geoecological and technological fields of activity under an outsourcing agreement and/or subcontracting and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.

Geological and Geoecological Activities:
Engineering and Geoecological Surveys;
Development of Environmental Impact Assessments;
Development of Environmental Protection Plans and Urban Frameworks;
Local Land and Groundwater Monitoring;
Environmental Assessment and Forecast;
Pollutant Emission Forecasting, Air Pollution Assessment;
Evaluation of Specific Emission Rates;
Evaluation of Transboundary Pollutant Transport, Atmospheric Depositions, and Critical Loads on Ecosystems;
Detection of Heavy Metals, Petroleum Products, and Other Pollutants in Water and Soil;
Soil and Geochemical Studies, Land (Soil) Pollution Assessment, Development of Recommendations for Remediation of Contaminated Areas;
Hazardous Substances and Waste Management, Persistent Organic Pollutants;
Environmental Remediation;
Hydrochemical and Hydrogeochemical Studies. Determination of the ionic composition of surface and groundwater, precipitation, and snow cover;
Assessment of the recreational value of water bodies and their rehabilitation;
Hydrodynamic modeling, assessment, and forecasting of groundwater pollution in areas of intense anthropogenic impact;
Development of regulatory documents in the field of environmental protection and nature management;
Assessment of the impact of economic activities (including construction and reconstruction) on flora;
Inventorying flora on the lands of populated areas and other areas (certification, inventory of plantings);
Geoecological justification for the design of ecological trails;
Development of dynamic and statistical models of plant production processes using operational satellite information to forecast crop yields;
Information products from satellite measurements, including the content of aerosols and greenhouse gases in the atmosphere (water vapor, CO2, CH4, etc.), and biophysical parameters of terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems in a given area.
Technological focus:
Peat, sapropel, brown coal, and oil shale processing technologies and products;
Organic and organomineral fertilizers based on peat and sapropel;
Humic substances and humic preparations;
Sorbents, activated carbons, peat and sapropel soils, ameliorants, and soil improvers;
Development of oil spill response methods, cleanup, and reclamation of oil-contaminated soils;
Peat and sapropel-based preparations and materials for crop production, livestock farming, and poultry farming;
Conducting prospecting and detailed geological exploration of peat and sapropel deposits, and providing geological and economic justification for the feasibility of developing peat and sapropel deposits;
Instruments for studying the thermophysical and deformation-strength properties of rocks at subzero temperatures, necessary for substantiating special shaft sinking methods for potash mines using artificial freezing;
Technologies for recycling large-scale waste ash from peat briquette plants;
Drilling fluids based on peat and sapropel.

The Institute of Nature Management is one of the oldest institutes of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, conducting research in the field of Earth sciences. The Institute's activities are aimed at addressing issues of rational nature management and environmental protection in collaboration with international organizations.
The Institute conducts research in the following areas:
- Developing scientific foundations for nature management and environmental protection;
- Assessing, forecasting, and optimizing anthropogenic impacts on natural systems;
- Scientific justification for the development of resource-saving technologies for the extraction, processing, and use of solid fossil fuels;
- Studying the formation conditions and assessing the condition of fresh drinking and mineral waters;
- Studying the geodynamics of the earth's crust and modern geological processes in Belarus;
- Geoecological justification for the design and placement of critical structures and environmentally hazardous facilities (nuclear power plants, hydroelectric power plants, underground gas storage facilities, highly toxic waste disposal sites, etc.);

- Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution;
- Ramsar Convention on Wetlands;
