Summary
The Institute of Housing and Communal Sevices offers consumers the scientific publication "Borehole Electric Pump Units with Permanent Magnet Synchronous Electric Motors" (in Russian) under a manufacturing agreement and is seeking partners to enter into a distribution agreement.
Description
This monograph summarizes the scientific and technical background and presents practical recommendations for improving the efficiency of water delivery from wells at water intake sites. It also provides information on the design features, product range, and structure of submersible borehole electric pump units. It examines methodological approaches to selecting water delivery equipment and determining the economic efficiency of pump units. Based on the results of testing these units at water intake sites in the Republic of Belarus, practical recommendations and a feasibility study are provided for replacing existing electric pump units with asynchronous drives and highly efficient water delivery systems with synchronous drives.

The information is available on the Institute's official website here.(in Russian)
Advantages and Innovations
It is intended for engineering and technical workers in the housing and utilities sector and the agro-industrial complex, employees of research institutes and design organizations, students, master's students, and postgraduate students in engineering specialties, as well as students of advanced training faculties.

Additional comments
The State Scientific Institution "The Institute of Housing and Communal Services of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" is a leading scientific organization in the public communal sector.

The main activities of the Institute:
- systemic economic and resource analysis of the industry, cost monitoring and environmental assessment in areas of activity;
- justification, development and implementation of energy-efficient environmentally sound technologies and technical means for housing and communal services;
- conducting fundamental and applied scientific research, scientific and technical (technological) developments in assigned scientific areas;
- development of new methods, techniques, science-based industry standards and recommendations;
- training of personnel of the highest scientific qualification.

Tasks of the Institute:
- economics of housing and communal services (mechanisms for increasing the efficiency and competitiveness of industry enterprises in the digital economy to ensure the quality and availability of public services, mechanisms for attracting extra-budgetary investment resources to promising projects in the housing sector);
- "smart" technologies for the operation of housing and communal services (methodology for the formation of a single information space for the communal sector, combining modern management systems, the introduction and use of information and communication technologies aimed at minimizing the loss of material and financial resources, ensuring comfortable living for a person);
- new methods and systems for managing communal resources (in energy and heat supply, taking into account the expanded use of electricity and renewable sources; water supply and sanitation, taking into account the structural, economic and innovative modernization of the economy; in the waste management system, taking into account their in-depth processing and transfer into secondary material resources).

The Institute works with the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of the Republic of Belarus to develop research topics in areas where there are significant reserves for reducing costs and increasing the competitiveness of services. The Institute provides scientific and innovative support to the housing and public utilities sector on an ongoing basis, develops scientifically based recommendations for the industry, including innovative modernization of processes and technological equipment that ensure a reduction in the level of specific costs, and the implementation of pilot projects to justify the most effective technological schemes and means that will allow us to come up with scientifically based recommendations for their implementation.
