Summary
The Institute of Land Reclamation offers consumers services for the assessment and planning of production of raw materials for the procurement of fodder on reclaimed lands using an information and reference system for decision supportunder an outsourcing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Information and reference system for decision support for the production of raw materials for forage harvesting on reclaimed lands and methodological recommendations for its use.
The information and reference system (IRS) for decision support for the construction of arable and meadow agrophytocenoses on reclaimed lands is designed to calculate the predicted yield of agricultural crops. IRS includes calculation of the yield of the following agricultural crops: winter rye, winter wheat, spring wheat, winter triticale, spring triticale, barley, winter grains on peat soils, spring grains on peat soils. IRS predicts the yield of long-term hayfields after their repair by reseeding to optimize the species composition of grass stands.
You can download typical methodological recommendations for using the Information and Reference System on the Institute's website here. (in Russian)

Additional comments
RUE "Institute of Land Reclamation" is the leading scientific institution in the country in the field of land reclamation and grassland management.
The Institute of Land Reclamation provides scientific support for the use of more than 4.5 million hectares of agricultural land, including 2.9 million hectares of drained land and 1.6 million hectares of meadow land with a natural water regime.
The main areas of scientific and scientific-technical activity:
- Development of highly efficient energy- and resource-saving technologies and design solutions for the construction, operation, repair and reconstruction of land reclamation systems, management of the water-air regime of reclaimed lands and irrigation.
- Development of highly efficient energy- and resource-saving technologies and design solutions for the construction, operation, repair and reconstruction of land reclamation systems, management of the water-air regime of reclaimed lands.
- Modeling and comprehensive monitoring of reclaimed areas and the environment using modern diagnostic methods, computer technologies of geographic information systems and databases for information support for making ecologically and economically efficient decisions in planning and designing reclamation measures and using reclaimed lands.
- Creation of highly efficient zonal farming systems on reclaimed lands that ensure rational use of land resources and sustainable functioning of natural systems.
- Development of economically and environmentally sound technologies for intensifying the use of hayfields and pastures, including grass seed production.
