Summary
The SPA of Powder Metallurgy (Republican state-owned enterprise "Center of the disposal of aviation weapons of destruction") offers customers the manufacture and supply of ZSL-70-1000 seismic casting charges under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
Description
ZSL-70-1000 seismic cast charges are designed for use as explosives in seismic and other geophysical work on the earth's surface, in production and exploratory wells of any degree of water cut, and are suitable for use in all climatic zones at ambient temperatures fr om -50 to +50°C.

Technical Specifications.
Appearance: cylindrical charge with a socket for an electric detonator in a plastic casing. The color of the explosive at the ends of the charge ranges fr om light yellow to dark brown.
Heat of explosion: 3875 kJ/kg.
Specific volume of harmful gases (expressed as CO): no more than 345 l/kg.
Impact sensitivity according to GOST 4545, lower lim it: not less than 100 mm.
Friction sensitivity according to GOST R 50835, lower lim it – not less than 200 MPa.
Detonation velocity – 6500 m/s.

Scope (industry, potential product consumers).
ZSL-70-1000 explosives are intended for use as industrial explosive charges for blasting operations during seismic exploration at potentially hazardous blasting sites of the Belorusneft Production Association, a state-owned enterprise that uses industrial explosives in seismic exploration operations in the Republic of Belarus.

The information is published in the Catalog "Brands of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus 2021–2022: List of the Most Important Developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus," 2023, pp. 115–116.
Advantages and Innovations
The ZSL-70-1000 is manufactured using explosives recovered from munitions during their disposal.
The charges consist of a cylindrical polyethylene case with a diameter of 70 mm and loaded with explosive. Additionally, the charges have an intermediate detonator in the form of a pressed or cast charge with a socket for the primer cap.
The charges are cast in batches directly into the polyethylene case using process equipment. The additional charge is installed during the intermediate stages of casting in a specially formed socket.
The charge cases can be assembled into garlands using locks machined into the charge case. The maximum length of a garland is 30 charges.
The charges are initiated using ED-8Zh, ED-8E, and EDS-1 electric detonators. It is permissible to initiate charges using other brands of electric detonators, Nonel, Edilin, SINV systems or similar ones.
