Summary
The Radio Engineering Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers a system for non-cooperative radar recognition of air and ground objects under a commercial agreement with technical assistance and/or a licensing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a technical cooperation agreement.
Description
The non-cooperative radar recognition system for air and ground targets is designed to automatically recognize objects based on the characteristic features of radar signals reflected from them.
Scope: Radar stations of various purposes and frequency ranges, including ground-based and airborne.
Using recognition systems in surveillance and weapons control radars will enable the following:
• Identifying enemy intent and determining the main target groups within a strike force;
• Preventing friendly missile launches against false targets;
• Assessing the threat posed by a tracked target and assigning the appropriate type and number of missiles for
its destruction;
• Adapting the missile's guidance circuit to the target;
• Adapting the missile's radio fuse operating mode depending on the class of target being hit;
• Determining target destruction within 1-3 seconds after missile detonation and deciding whether to continue firing on the target or transfer the firing to another target;
• clarify the launch and kill zone boundaries, taking into account the target class.
The information is published in the Catalog "Brands of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus 2021–2022: A List of the Most Important Developments of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus" (2023), p. 88.

Advantages and Innovations
The air and ground target recognition system utilizes all available radar target signatures that the radar can detect. This ensures a high probability of correct automatic target recognition (at least 0.85–0.9). Implementing the system as part of a radar does not require changes to the radar's structure or operating algorithms.
The air and ground target recognition system is customized and implemented for the customer's specific radar.
