Description of Firefighting Equipment from the "Instrument Manufacturing Plant Optron".
The SPRU-50/0.7 Universal Hand-Held Fire Nozzle and the SPRUK-50/0.7 Universal Hand-Held Fire Nozzle
are designed to generate, regulate the flow rate, and direct a compact or atomized stream of extinguishing agent, creating a protective water curtain for extinguishing fires and emergency response.
The nozzle is classified as a normal-pressure, shut-off, or universal nozzle with a protective curtain
with a nominal bore diameter of Dy50. The nozzle achieves its best performance at an operating pressure of 0.7 MPa. When extinguishing fires and conducting emergency rescue operations that do not require long-distance delivery of extinguishing agent, the nozzle may be used at reduced pressure, but not lower than 0.4 MPa.
The dispenser position is used for flushing the nozzle, as well as for extinguishing fires and conducting emergency rescue operations that require higher extinguishing agent flow rates.
To deliver air-mechanical foam, connect and secure the foam generator,
set the nozzle to deliver a solid stream at the required flow rate, and create a pressure upstream of the nozzle of at least 0.4–0.7 MPa. If necessary, further adjust the stream pattern.
The information is published in the Catalog "Brands of the NAS of Belarus 2021–2022: A List of the Most Important Developments of the NAS of Belarus." 2023. pp. 95–96.
Information about the SPRU-50/0.7 and SPRUK-50/0.7 universal hand-held fire nozzles is also available on the RCTT website here.
