Summary
The Fish Industry Institute offers consumers medicinal feed with the drug "Timtetrazol" for the prevention and treatment of phylometroidosis in pond fish under a manufacturing agreement and is looking for partners interested in a distribution services agreement.
Description
Therapeutic feed with the drug "Timtetrazol" is used for the prevention and treatment of philometroidosis in pond fish.

The drug "Timtetrazol":
- Disrupts energy metabolism in nematodes and inhibits ATP synthesis, inhibits the activity of fumarate and succinate dehydrogenases.
- Well absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract.
- Completely eliminated from the fish body in the form of metabolites in 15 days.

Information about the therapeutic feed with the drug "Timtetrazol" is posted on the website of the Institute of Fisheries here. (in Russian). You can also order the Therapeutic feed there.

Additional comments
The Fish Industry Institute is a leading research center that heads and coordinates research work on fish farming in the republic. The activities of the institute's scientists in the field of pond fish farming are aimed at stimulating the development of the natural food base, maximum use of production capabilities by feeding fish with concentrated compound feed, transition to polyculture and optimization of its composition by growing highly productive fish species.

The main tasks and areas of scientific and technical activities of the organization are:
- Pond and industrial fish farming
- Improving fish farming technologies
- Developing fish feed
- Prevention and treatment of fish diseases
- Expanding the range of farmed fish species
- Selection and breeding work
- Optimization of fisheries management modes of lakes, rivers and reservoirs
- Training of highly qualified scientific personnel
- Gene pool farming for fish breeding.

The Institute's long-term work on creating pure lines of locally bred carp resulted in the formation of three breeds of Belarusian carp, which made it possible to move from growing low-yielding mongrel carp to cultivating heterozygous lines of the first generation with high fish-breeding and consumer qualities in accordance with the developed scheme of industrial hybridization.

The intensive technology of growing fish seed material developed at the Institute allows for obtaining up to 20 c/ha of yearlings in rearing ponds and solves the problem of fish seed material shortage, expands the range of fish products by including new promising fish farming objects in polyculture.

The creation of new chemical and biological medicinal products for the prevention and treatment of fish diseases allows fish farms to refuse the use of a number of expensive and environmentally unsafe antibiotics, and eliminate mass fish waste in conditions of intensive fish farming.

Safe methods of fertilizing ponds with food industry waste have been developed, which contribute to increasing fish productivity and significantly reducing the cost of expensive concentrated feed when growing planting material.

Compound feeds for different types of fish created on the basis of local raw materials help reduce the cost of farmed fish and increase competitiveness.

The biotechnology of pond fish cultivation in polyculture, artificial reproduction of juvenile carp and herbivorous fish, commercial fish farming in lakes, selective breeding work with carp and many others developed by the Institute have allowed all fish farms in the republic to make the transition to intensive technologies.

The Institute is a full member and one of the founders of the Association "Network of Aquaculture Research Centers in Central and Eastern Europe" (NACCE).

Agreements on scientific and technical cooperation in the field of fisheries and water resources study have been concluded and are in effect with specialized research institutions of Russia (All-Russian Research Institute of Freshwater Fisheries, N.M. Knipovich Polar Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography, State Research Institute of Lake and River Fisheries, Kaliningrad State Technical University), Ukraine (Fisheries Institute of the Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Kherson State Agrarian University), Lithuania (Fisheries Service under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Lithuania), Poland (Stanislav Sakovich Institute of Freshwater Fish Farming), China (the Fishery Company of Da Qing Lian Huan Hu Lake), Academy of Agricultural Sciences (Su Qian Institute of Academy of Agricultural Sciences from Jiang Su Province of China).
