Summary
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus offers consumers services for the measuring thermal properties of materials by differential scanning calorimetry under a outsourcing agreement or subcontract.
Description
A.V.Luikov Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of the NAS of Belarus is equipped with a differential scanning calorimeter «DSC-2», which is designed to measure the thermal properties of materials.
The principle of operation of the «DSC-2» is based on measuring the difference in heat flows coming from the test sample and the comparison sample. The information obtained allows us to determine the nature of the ongoing processes and characterize the properties of the tested material.
The differential scanning calorimeter «DSC-2» uses the following systems for samples:
* standard crucibles and covers made of aluminum (20 - 500°C);
* special graphite crucibles and lids (20 - 725°C);
* crucibles for volatile samples and sealed caps made of aluminum and gold;
* a press for standard crucibles and a crucible sealer for volatile samples.
Differential scanning calorimeter «DSC-2» is characterized by:
* high heating/cooling rate of samples;
* high calorimetric accuracy;
* true isothermal measurements;
* excellent sensitivity;
* high resolution.
Technical specifications:
Areas of application:
* chemical industry;
* polymer industry;
* metallurgy;
* mineralogy;
* biology;
* medicine;
* criminalistics, etc.
The Institute offers partners services for the measuring thermal properties of materials by differential scanning calorimetry under a outsourcing agreement or subcontract.
