The regulations were prepared by: V.K. Pavlovsky, V.S. Dybal (Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus), Ph.D. agricultural Sciences N.F. Nadtochaev, M.A. Meleshkevich (Republican Unitary Enterprise "Scientific and Practical Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus for Agriculture"), candidate of agricultural sciences. Sciences L.P. Shimansky, V.I. Kravtsov (RNDUP "Polessk Institute of Plant Growing").
Scope of application: agricultural enterprises of the Republic of Belarus.
Intended for managers, agronomists, engineers of agricultural and other enterprises of the Republic of Belarus engaged in the production of corn seeds.

The Institute is one of the leading in the Republic of Belarus in the selection of corn and sunflower, is engaged in the creation of varieties of annual and perennial fodder grasses using traditional breeding methods, reproduction and obtaining original seeds. Particular attention is paid to the optimization of technologies for the cultivation of cereals, legumes, corn, sunflower, annual and perennial fodder grasses in specific soil and climatic zones of the Polessian zone.
The main directions of scientific and practical activity of the enterprise "Polessian Institute of Plant Growing" is the introduction of new competitive varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops in the agro-industrial complex of the Republic of Belarus and the development of scientifically based and economically justified technologies for their cultivation, as well as:
- Creation of productive, high-quality varieties and hybrids of corn, sunflower, perennial grasses, cereals and vegetables using traditional breeding methods.
- Improvement of farming systems, taking into account the specific soil and climatic zones of the region, providing an economically viable crop of crop products, preserving soil fertility.
- Improvement of existing and development of new cost-effective technologies for growing and harvesting fodder crops.
- Optimization of technologies for the production of crop products, allowing the maximum realization of the genetic potential of plants in specific soil and climatic zones of the Gomel region areas while minimizing resource costs.
