Experimental and Production Enterprise "Ferrit" of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures EMI filters designed to suppress electromagnetic interference both created during the operation of electronic devices and interference arising during the operation of mobile and radio communications. Filters are used for electromagnetic compatibility in the frequency range 0.15-30 MHz.

Due to the widespread use of EMI filters, they are manufactured in the following variants:
* filter built into the mains power connector serves to protect the device from the influence of external interference (microsecond, nanosecond and radio frequency interference);
* filter built into the "noisy" unit of the device serves for the operational integration of the filter into the developed design, is included in the corresponding power supply circuit;
* filter as a separate structural element (the use of such filters is possible if a separate mains transformer is used at the input of the device);
* external mains filter (is an additional way to protect electronic equipment).

Areas of use:
* personal computers and peripherals;
* telecommunications equipment;
* HF and microwave transmitters;
* digital video cameras, equipment for digital TV;
* other circuits with digital signal processing.
