Description
The technology of detection and tracking of high-speed objects is relevant for newly developed detection systems, since it is fundamentally multi-channel, which is rare in existing systems.

Modern detectors of moving objects are designed to solve the problem of detecting objects that do not leave a single element of spatial resolution during the decision-making time. When working with high-speed objects, this rule is not followed. The movement of objects from element to element of spatial resolution makes the developed solutions irrelevant. This is why the scientific and practical solution to the problem of detecting and tracking high-speed objects is extremely relevant.

Detectors of high-speed objects are intended for use in information systems that include detectors and tracking devices for a wide range of applications, including air and space objects. Due to the rapid expansion of the scope of application of objects moving at hypersonic speeds, the practicality of the problem under consideration is very broad. Therefore, taking into account the current restrictions, the implementation of the detectors under consideration is promising in the markets of East Asia and Latin America.

Advantages and Innovations
Information on the technology for solving the problem of detecting and tracking high-speed objects is information of limited distribution. At the same time, it is known that there is no high-quality solution to the problem in the mentioned markets. This applies to devices for space-time surveillance and does not apply to devices for spatial tracking, since the grid of resolved volumes in the latter case "moves" together with the observed object.

The efficiency of processing signals from detectors and tracking devices depends to a decisive extent on the realized losses during processing. The implementation of approaches to solving the problem and practical algorithms developed by the Radio Engineering Center of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus showed that, compared to the optimal ones, the realized losses during processing are very insignificant and in a number of practical cases do not exceed 0.5 dB.

In the problems of the class under consideration, there is no need to assess the level of environmental safety.

Despite the high complexity of implementing algorithms for detecting and tracking high-speed objects in all the practical situations considered, the requirement for unacceptably high complexity of special computers did not arise.
