The Polesie Agrarian Ecological Institute offers consumers services for local monitoring of lands in the area of location of identified or potential sources of their pollution under a subcontracting or an outsoursing agreement and is looking for partners to conclude a distribution services agreement.
The scope of work performed includes:
- reconnaissance (preliminary) survey of lands to determine the sources and nature of chemical pollution;
- substantiation and formation of a network of test sites in the study area;
- sampling of soils (soils) at established test sites;
- carrying out analytical studies of selected samples in accredited laboratories with the issuance of a test report;
- determination of levels of content of chemical elements-pollutants in soils (soil);
- determination of the degree of contamination of soils (soils);
- registration of research results in the form of a report.

Additional comments
The main task of the institute is to conduct fundamental and applied scientific research in the field of developing evidence-based measures aimed at the conservation and rational use of the natural resource potential of the Polesye region.

Research directions:
- Agrobiology. Scientific substantiation of the main elements of the technology of cultivation of fodder crops, including non-traditional ones, and the formation of highly productive environment-stabilizing phytocenoses in agroecologically problematic areas of Western Polesye agrolandscapes, taking into account modern climate changes;
- Biogeochemistry and Ecotoxicology. The study of the migration of xenobiotics (compounds alien to living organisms that do not enter into either plastic or energy metabolism in the cell) in ecological systems, the mechanisms of their inclusion in natural cycles, as well as the consequences of changes in the natural flows of substances in the biosphere - violation of ecological balance and transformation of elements biosphere, biodiversity decline, risk to human health. The main efforts are aimed at studying the impact of heavy metals on the biotic and abiotic components of ecosystems, as well as studying their biological and ecological fate;
- Ecosystem optimization. Intensification of innovative approaches to the protection and interactive use of landscape and biological diversity and the agro-economic potential of the Polesye region in the interests of sustainable development and improving the quality of life of people. Promotion of environmental and socio-economic innovations in the framework of the implementation of local sustainable development strategies and local projects of the "green" economy of the Belarusian Polesie;
- Hydroecology and Ecotechnologies. Assessment of water quality (drinking, surface and waste); numerous projects are being implemented to standardize in the field of water protection and use, as well as waste processing, scientific research is being carried out in relevant and promising areas related to improving the quality of waters in our region, minimizing the threat of pollution;
- Feed quality. Analysis of the implementation by organizations of the agro-industrial complex of technological regulations and standards in the production of agricultural products.

Within the framework of international collaborations and projects, research is being carried out in various scientific areas in ecology, soil science, zoology and botany, hydrology, biogeochemistry and ecotoxicology, plant physiology and biochemistry, and in the field of agricultural sciences.
Certification standards
The Institute is accredited for compliance with the requirements of GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 (ISO/IEC 17025:2017, IDT) and has an accreditation certificate dated 04.11.2022 No. ВУ/112 1.1832 valid until 04.11.2027.
