Summary
SSPA “Scientific-Practical Materials Research Centre of NAS of Belarus” offers consumers a technology to ensure the relationship between the crystal structure and electromechanical properties of multiferroics based on bismuth ferrite on the basis of a commercial agreement with technical assistance and is looking for partners to conclude a research cooperation agreement.
Description
The need to search for new functional materials with improved parameters of electromechanical and magneto-electric interactions. Of greatest interest are complex oxides of transition metals, which demonstrate a significant increase in susceptibility to external factors - temperature, electric and magnetic fields.

A comprehensive study of the structure and physical properties of solid solutions based on BiFeO3 with substitution by rare-earth ions and ions of alkaline-earth elements with compositions in the region of phase transitions has been carried out.

We studied BiFeO3-based materials with a metastable structural state associated with the coexistence of several structural phases and using both macroscopic (X-ray and synchrotron radiation diffraction) and local research methods (transmission electron microscopy, atomic force microscopy).
Advantages and Innovations
The reasons for the significant improvement in the physicochemical properties observed in compositions based on bismuth ferrite (Bi1-xRexFeO3) near concentration phase transitions have been determined, which makes it possible to create new environmentally friendly functional materials with desired properties, in particular, with improved parameters of electromechanical interactions.
