Description
Institute of Meat and Dairy Industry is the only enterprise in the Republic of Belarus that produces concentrated starter cultures for the dairy industry. Currently, on the basis of collection cultures, technologies have been created for the production of domestic starters (dry and frozen) for the manufacture of various fermented dairy products.
Production starter cultures are offered:
- for the manufacture of cheese;
- additional cultures for cheeses;
- for cottage cheese and soft cheeses;
- for fermented dairy products;
- for sour cream;
- for fermented milk products of a functional orientation.

Scientific research carried out by the Institute is relevant, reflects the real needs of the meat and dairy industry and is aimed at reducing resource consumption, import substitution, increasing the biological value of products, expanding their range.
