Summary
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus offers consumers quarter-wave and half-wave phase plates of zero & multiple order under a manufacturing agreement.
Description
B.I.Stepanov Institute of Physics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus manufactures quarter-wave and half-wave phase plates of zero & multiple order, designed to transform the polarization state of a light beam by shifting the phases between two perpendicular polarizing components of incident light.
The quarter-wave plate provides a phase shift of a quarter of the wavelength and changes linear polarization to circular
and vice versa.
The half-wave plate creates a phase shift of a half of the wavelength and rotates polarization direction of linearly polarized
light.
Specification:
Application areas:
* mineralogy and optical petrology;
* optical and laser systems;
* polarization microscopy;
* instrument making.
