Lecture 4 of ANSO ScienceOne Series: From AI Theory to Systematic Practice (May 19, 2026)
The lecture is titled "AI-Ready Data Preparation" is produced by the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA). The ScienceOne series aims to promote the co-development of an open, shared, and platform-driven "AI for Science" ecosystem with global partners.
In this session, Prof. LIU Qiang will introduce the concept of AI-Ready Data for AI for Science (AI4S), highlighting key characteristics such as representativeness, completeness, and low redundancy. He will also present the ScienceOne methodology, which integrates modality-specific models with large language models (LLMs) and chain-of-thought reasoning to enhance scientific tasks such as material property prediction and molecular verification. Case studies on spectral data understanding have demonstrated over 99% accuracy in molecular structure reconstruction.
This course is designed for university students, teachers, and individuals interested in computer technology and artificial intelligence. It aims to introduce the core principles and methods of machine learning in a clear and accessible way, helping participants build a foundational understanding of data-driven intelligent systems and encouraging further exploration in related fields.
