On November 21, 2024, the Joint Institute for Informatics Problems of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (UIPI of the NAS of Belarus) together with the Belarusian Institute of System Analysis and Information Support of the Scientific and Technical Sphere (BelISA) will hold the annual XXI International Scientific and Technical Conference "Development of Informatization and the State system of Scientific and Technical Information" (RINTI-2024).

The purpose of the conference:

Analysis of the state and problems of development of informatization (digital transformation) of the economy, social sphere, public administration and the system of scientific and technical information in the Republic of Belarus and abroad.

Development of new approaches to scientific and methodological support for the development of informatization and information society (IT country, IT state), as well as to the creation of information technologies and information infrastructure in Belarus.

Creation and implementation of automated systems of scientific and technical information, corporate library and information systems for automation of scientific and scientific and technical libraries, automated systems of information support for scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities.

The main directions of the conference:

1. Analysis of the state and problems of development of a single information space, methods and means of ensuring its formation, use and development in the interests of citizens, society and the state.

2. Main directions and technologies of digital transformation: electronic state, digital economy, e-commerce and logistics, e-learning, e-health, electronic libraries, digitization of cultural heritage, formation of national electronic content.

3. Formation of a regulatory framework, an integrated system of standardization (unification), certification, examination, evaluation of the effectiveness of the implementation of programs and projects in the field of informatization and scientific and technical information systems.

4. Development and implementation of corporate systems of scientific and technical information, library and information systems and technologies for automating information support for scientific, scientific, technical and innovative activities. Publication activity of scientists and organizations.

5. Scientific and information computer networks, technologies for high-speed information exchange between organizations with access to international scientific and educational networks.

6. Corporate network of libraries in Belarus and its information resources, generation of own information resources, providing access to national and foreign information resources.

7. Regional informatization and information infrastructure. Discussion of issues of information support for science and education based on modern information and telecommunication technologies, organization of a unified scientific and information space.

8. Research into the processes of digitalization of the economy and society.

9. Artificial intelligence and cognitive technologies in information technology.
