The program of the seminar can be downloaded here (in Russian).

The seminar revealed the following problems in the EAEU countries:
1. Lack of markets for intellectual property (IP) objects in the EAEU countries and, as a result, the absence in the EAEU countries of such a tool for transfer and commercialization of technologies as IP auctions;
2. Reducing the number of applications for intellectual property items filed with the patent offices of the EAEU countries;
3. Lack of unified approaches to remuneration for the use of intellectual property items in the EAEU countries;
4. Lack of qualified specialists in the field of transfer and commercialization technology, management and protection of intellectual property in the EAEU countries.

As part of the solution of the above problems, the participants of the seminar:
- Exchanged experience in IP management in the territory of the EAEU countries;
- Discussed the prospects for interaction between the patent offices of the EAEU countries;
- Were informed about the establishment of the Eurasian Association of Patent Attorneys, information resources and services provided by WIPO to countries, organizations and individuals in the field of transfer and commercialization technology, management and protection of intellectual property;
- Outlined further steps aimed at the adoption of regulations that will accelerate the registration and mutual recognition of intellectual property items (trademarks, utility models, patents, etc.) in the EAEU countries.
