From September 8 to 15, 2023, the NAS of Belarus was visited by a delegation from Shandong Province, headed by Wang Yuyan, a member of the Standing Party Committee, the head of the Organization Department of the Communist Party of China of Shandong Province.

During the visit, the delegation:

• acquainted with the permanent exhibition of the NAS of Belarus "Research. Development. Production", the Virtual exhibition of the NAS of Belarus, the activities of the NAS of Belarus and RCTT, visited a number of institutes, enterprises, and the University of the NAS of Belarus;
• on September 12, 2023, the delegation took part in the Belarusian-Chinese conference on the exchange of experience in the field of science, technology and education.

The conference was attended by the First Deputy Chairman of the Presidium of the NAS of Belarus Academician Sergei Chizhik, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, the head of the Organizational Department of the Communist Party of China of Shandong Province Wang Yuyan, the Head of the Main Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Vladimir Podkopaev, the Director of the State Scientific Institution “Center for System Analysis for Strategic Research of the NAS of Belarus" Dr. Valery Hancharou, the Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy and others.

As part of the visit, a meeting was held between the Director of the Republican Center for Technology Transfer, Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy, and the Vice-president of the Academy of Sciences of Shandong Province, Yang Meihong, and the Director of the Laser Institute of Shandong Academy of Sciences, Prof. Jia Zhongqing. A discussion took place on the state and prospects of cooperation in the field of technology transfer and commercialization.
