On February 22, 2024, a working video meeting was held between the World-Class Research and Academic Centre "Kuzbass" (RAC "Kuzbass"), member organizations of the RAC "Kuzbass" and the NAS of Belarus.

From the Russian side, the video meeting was attended by: Director of the World-Class Research and Academic Centre "Kuzbass" (RAC "Kuzbass") Dr. Irina Ganieva, Head of International Cooperation Department Dr. Ivan Skornyakov; representatives of the T. F. Gorbachev Kuzbass Federal State Budgetary Educational Institution of Higher Education (KuzGTU), the Siberian State Industrial University, and others. The NAS of Belarus was represented at the meeting by: Director of the Republican Technology Transfer Center Dr. Alexander Uspensky; Academician-Secretary of the Department of Physical and Technical Sciences of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Sergei Shcherbakov; Academician-Secretary of the Department of Chemistry and Earth Sciences of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Alexey Trukhanov and others. Counselor, head of the branch of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in Novosibirsk Mr. Sergey Telezhinsky took part in the video meeting.

During the event, the parties discussed proposals from member organizations of the RAC "Kuzbass" on scientific cooperation with organizations of the NAS of Belarus, participation in scientific conferences, problems of financing joint scientific projects, and others.
