On January 21, 2026, RCTT's experts took part in the IP Helpdesk Stakeholders’ meeting 2026: IP protection in the AI & Software Era organized by IP Helpdesk.

This meeting was focuses on intellectual property protection in the software and artificial intelligence sectors. The event highlights the growing importance of IP for companies leveraging AI and software in global markets, taking into account differences in legal frameworks.

The meeting  addressed the following issues:

  • An overview of the AI Act
  • Case studies
  • Insights from the European AI Office
  • The role of the IP Helpdesk for SMEs
