The 2nd ANSO General Assembly was held

On January 20, 2022, the 2nd Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO) Online General Assembly was held.

The ANSO General Assembly was attended by 68 representatives from 31 countries. The National Academy of Sciences of Belarus was represented at the General Assembly by: the First Deputy Chairman of the NAS of Belarus Academician Sergei Chizhik, the Head of the Main Department of International Scientific and Technical Cooperation of the NAS of Belarus Dr. Vladimir Podkopaev, the Director of RCTT Dr. Alexander Uspenskiy.

A discussion was held on the results of ANSO's work for 2019-2021, an amendment to the ANSO Statutes, approval of new ANSO members, consideration of the strategy, and priorities for the future development of ANSO as part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
